While the Hindu culture accepts the right of anyone to hold any sort of views regarding religion, the very basis of this right being sustained is the respect for other's beliefs. While Karunanidhi was within his right to have questioned the existence of Rama, he has crossed the Lakshman Rekha by mocking at other's beliefs by asking from which engineering college Ram graduated.
