Pakistan government has announced a reward of Rs one crore for any information about perpetrators of the deadly suicide truck bombing on the five- star Marriott hotel in which a tonne of explosives was used. The Interior Ministry, in a statement, said that anybody providing information regarding the perpetrators of the last night blast would be rewarded with Rs one crore. The attack at the luxury Marriott hotel, believed to be the most devastating in the Pakistani capital, left 60 people dead and nearly 260 injured. The ministry said additional measures are being taken "to beef up security of public places, government installations and likely targets of terrorist elements". Provincial governments were directed to "review and revisit their security plans," it said. The massive blast last night, in which officials said about 1,000 kilograms of explosives were used, ruptured gas pipelines and triggered a fire that rapidly spread through the five-storey 290-room hotel, which was popular among foreigners. The Pakistan government has only to raid its madarsas with Al Qaida links to get vital clues as to the source of its terrorism. But they are holy cows in Pakistan because Pakistan is an Islamic Republic. Just as madarsas are holy cows in India because India is a secular republic!
If I am in line for any 1 crore reward, please spend it on the victims.
