The officials of the Mumbai ATS on Monday produced six accused of Malegaon blast including Sadhvi Pragya Thakur Nashik court. The Sadhvi fainted during the proceedings in the court. Mumbai ATS arrested three more people in Nashik before producing them in the court earlier in the day. Sadhvi later made the statement in the court that she will speak up only if she is assured justice. Earlier, Shiv Sainiks came out in large number in support of the Sadhvi in front of the Nashik court today. They blocked the road to the court and raised slogans. Sadhvi Pragya, who is a main accused in the Malegaon blast case, was earlier subjected to polygraphic, brain mapping and narco analysis tests. Besides Sadhvi, two other accused - Shivnarayan Singh Kalsangram and Shyam Bhawarlal Sahu – whose custody ended yesterday were also produced in the Nashik court today. It is being believed that Mumbai ATS will ask for the fourteen days police custody for the accused. The custody of other two accused – Ramesh Upadhyay and Sameer Kulkarni-- will end on Nov 10. Meanwhile, BJP national spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad on held a press conference today where he raised fingers on the Malegaon blast investigation and called Sadhvi a victim of double standards. Ravishankar Prasad said, "Every accused is liable to get legal assistance as per the law of the land.” Commenting on the decision of Jamia University’s Vice Chancellor’s decision to offer legal aid to the Jamia students accused in the Delhi blasts’ case. Prasad said, "If any Vice Chancellor in any BJP ruled state decides to support SIMI or Sadhvi Pragya our stand wil be unchanged. “What if the Assam University gives assistance to students involved with ULFA or Ujjain University supporting ABVP students accused in the Professor Sabharwal murder case," he questioned. Earlier, BJP chief Rajnath Singh has earlier said that Sadhvi is being framed. Although BJP did not offer any legal aid to Sadhvi their unit in Nashik and a minister from Madhya Pradesh is said to be arranging legal help for Sadhvi. Sadhvi Pragya has found support from RSS and Shiv Sena as well. Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray has defended Sadhvi in his party’s mouth piece ‘Samna’ while RSS defended her by asking legal help for her. Earlier, former Army official Ramesh Upadhyay and Sameer Kulkarni were also subjected to polygraphic tests at the Kalina Forensic Science Laboratory. Five persons, including Sadhvi, have been arrested for planting a motorcycle bomb in Malegaon which claimed six lives.
