Dalai Lama admitted in Mumbai hospital |
Mumbai, Aug 28: Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama was today admitted to Lilavati Hospital here for treatment of abdominal discomfort. The 73-year-old Nobel laureate will undergo investigations tomorrow, the hospital's spokesperson Mohan Rajan told agencies. "There was no cause for concern," he said. The Dalai Lama was brought to the hospital in a chartered flight this evening and was admitted as he was suffering from abdominal discomfort, Rajan said. He is under the treatment of Narendra Trivedi, who is also the Vice-President of the private hospital, Rajan said.
